Dr. Kent Cranford has been our Pastor since October 2005. Dr. Cranford is a native of High Point, NC and was nurtured in the Christian faith at the First Baptist Church of High Point. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University (BS) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MDiv and DMin). He has served churches in Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Georgia. He has also been employed at The Bowman Gray School of Medicine (Wake Forest University), The University of Louisville, The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and Truitt McConnell College. Also, he is an adjunct professor of religion at Gaston College since 2006. Dr. Cranford, also, provides an informational ministry on Baptist History and Theology called Dramatic Distinctives.
