Dr. Kent Cranford has been our Pastor since October 2005. Dr. Cranford is a native of High Point, NC and was nurtured in the Christian faith at the First Baptist Church of High Point. He is a graduate of Western Carolina University (BS Biology) and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry). He has served churches in Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Georgia. Other places of employment include The Bowman Gray School of Medicine (Wake Forest University Medical School), The University of Louisville, The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and Truitt McConnell College. Also, he is currently an adjunct professor of religion at Gaston College since 2006. He can be reached by email at loraypastor@bellsouth.net.
